Task 2: K-pop Space Station

 For Lockdown our task for today was make a space station, And Me and Margaux decided to do it on slides and include our favourite groups! K-pop. Mine was Enhypen and Margauxs was Stray Kids and BTS. I hope you enjoy!

Open day: intermediate

The day has finally come, I'm going to intermediate and I was never really nervous. But I got nervous when I walked in the intermediate, its was huge and I have only been here too pick up my brother from school. Mr Tafia introduced us too the school, He was Niue and he was kind and also funny. He showed us there pool and where Wesley Primary gets too play but we couldn't get too play where the intermediate usually plays. 

After he showed us where we play, and eat, and where the toilets were. We finally did the first activity for my group, Green! We had to do P.E which had the teacher Mr. Ball! He made us do a lot of P.E but it was fun, He trained our skill's for basketball and he made us play the game but it wasn't the real game. But there were different teams, filled with May Road and Wesley Primary. I was with Asi, Junior, Rtibey, and Me. Then we played a game that Mr ball made up when he was little, You have to Line up on the red line and then when he calls out a number then that's how many people go out to vs each other. If he calls our five, then five people have to go out.

After P.E I went over to Robotic's! I was really happy and excited because as a child, I had so much time on my hands and that made me make new things like gaining my creativity, As a child I made the robot with buttons as eyes and I used some old Christmas lights and glued it onto the robot, And I forgot what it name was but it was something like bob, Or maybe sponge-bob.

For robotics we had to code on the chrome book SPK Sphero's, SPK Sphero's are L.E.S which stands for LED electrical spheros which means there were some controllable LED system inside the sphero for you to change the color inside. I chose the color Light purple, or blue. 

I really enjoyed my time at Wesley Intermediate and I hope I get another chance too go there again!

Kea´s Gravity Learning

 in the 1687 there was this wise man named Sir Isaac Newton, He was suddenly thinking under a tree until an apple fell on to his head, And that's when it hit him. He finally started  theory, Of Gravity.

Kea has been studying about Gravity and Sir Isaac Newton. What we did was get two objects and put them at the same time but different height,and also drop them at the same time, Example I grab a half filled bottle and a full filled bottle. And I test drop them.

The boys did this experiment but he stood up on a chair and drop them, They fell at the same exact time! Because we watched a video that explains that gravity is the reason you are staying towards the floor,If there was no gravity there would be no houses, Mcdonalds, and none of the good stuff that we have now. Gravity is this type of air that pulls you down to the floor. It´s the glue of the earth.

Luckily we now have smart people here to keep studying this type of subject and maybe find out what gravity really is? Have you ever studied about Gravity? 

What happened in the South Auckland Tornado?

Mentos VS Volcano experiment!

Monday was a crazy day. It started while we were supposed to do maths but Mrs Bound had something amazing for us. We could make our own Volcano with sand. We just had to write down what we thought was gonna happen, and ingredients, and what type of Volcano we were going to make. We were going to make a cinder volcano. A cinder volcano is a little volcano, Not that little, just shorter than normal volcano. Like a Plant growing. The ingredients are Vinegar, Dishsoap, Food coloring and water. We made a fake volcano experiment with sand. We used the water to make the sand stick together instead of it being dry since it will easily collapse. While we were finished up with the volcano we got the teacher to put in the ingredients. We didn't put in the Vinegar yet since we had to wait to put in the Baking soda, Water, and food coloring. Once we put that in we immediately put in the vinegar and stood back. Ours didn’t explode like a rocket, ours just spilled like you pouring juice in a glass cup. We waited for others to finish their volcano, A few minutes passed and people finally finished for us to do the coke and the mentos. Mr To’oala did it since none of us wanted to take a chance to get blown in the face. He put the mentos in the coke bottle and it blasted to the sky, But not that high, But yes it did go high but not like an actual flying rocket. People went away but some of us girls stayed to see if Mr To’oala was alright. Turns out it spat out again getting us wet. In my opinion the coke was better than the Volcano.

Why Am I against caving.

The reason I am against caving is because many things could happen. In fairness none of these things happened to me but they could happen. The first thing is injury, You could fall down and you can easily hurt yourself and even if you have supplies to heal the womb, It still won't work. 

Second reason is earthquakes. If you have that much bad luck and an earthquake happens you are in serious danger! Rocks can fall on you and you can easily die or get a serious injury, A big chance you won't survive.

Third reason is you can break a bone, if you break a bone and you have to climb in the cave, you might as well safely go back.

Forth reason if you can slip and fall, Your lights can go out and you won't be able to see where you are going.

Auckland Rugby is the Best!

 We enter the bus as time pasts by, and its almost crowded. Few minutes, hours, etc we get there and its huge! We get a tour and play some fun games with the tour people. She greets us with a smile! And she shows us the amazing rock or stone that keeps Auckland Rugby´s spirit alive, And a little message or quote on the wall. 

As she opens this secret wall, we see this hallway of how many wins they got each game, All blacks got the most each year. And as we head on, we see this old room (not really.) but as we walk there is fancy flooring and an old TV. 

Then, She asks for a volunteer and somebody puts there hand up quickly like a bird zooming threw the sky. after she kindly asks to change the channel. But it suddenly broke, But she smacked it, and it turned into this 3D cinema, Which was very entertaining for everybody. In my opinion it was explaining the story of Rugby and how it started. 

It finished and The tour person walked us into the game room, but before she did that she separated us into two teams. Team 1 and Team 2, I was in team 1. So she took us into this dark room with these ipads dug into this table in my eyes. But then we saw these rugby players on the screen, I saw my favourite rugby player on the screen. I was screaming inside, but I kept it quiet. Team 2 one, It was a good game. we lost by some points. 

After every thing else lets skip to the fun parts of the trip. After we went to this place where we learnt what the players do before they get out and played. What they do is they get in these little spaces and they sing, and maybe a speech? That will stay a question. But then we go into this room that looked like we were doing the haka with the rugby players, and it felt like one too!

Then we get into the fun part where we went to ANOTHER gaming place, but with even cooler things, Throwing game, passes quizs and running included. Then we traveled to the gift shop with clothes stuffed animals, then we got back to the bus and had a nice view continuing back to school.
